  • Individual members will have line referral in brochure (name & phone number only)
  • Municipal, Organizational & Professional Affiliates may use the Association name and logo in public relations materials.

COMMERCIAL MEMBERS, VENDORS & RELATED SERVICES:

  • Use of logo in advertising
  • Unlimited PTCA meeting access for employees
  • Discounts for employees to PTCA functions
  • Company name, address, phone number, email, website in PTCA brochure
  • Inter-member referrals
  • Discounted advertisement in PTCA newsletter and website.
  • Voting on bylaws
  • Website listing under "Find a Member" will list company name, contact person, phone & fax for Vendors
  • Website listing under "Find a Tree Service" will list company name, address, phone & fax, email & website (these will be "links" so a customer will immediately be able to "click on" to that member's email or website), areas served, and services provided for Commercial members & Related services.
MEMBERSHIP CLASSIFICATIONS

COMMERCIAL MEMBERS

  • Provides tree-related services for municipal, commercial, residential, and/or utility clients, as well as meets the following requirements:
    • Minimum of $250,000 general liability and property damage insurance (combined single linit). Current certificates to be on file with the PTCA.
    • California State Contractor's license with a classification of C-27, C-61 or D-49
    • Worker's compensation insurance (must specify labor code of 0106). Current certificates to be on file with the PTCA.
  • Initial fee is $300. Annual dues, thereafter, are $110.

RELATED SERVICES

  • Members who perform horticultural spraying, feeding, consultation, etc. and are not involved in pruning or removal.
    • Appropriate current state licenses shall be kept on file with the PTCA.
    • $250,000 general liability and property insurance (combined single limit).
    • worker's compensation insurance.
  • Initial fee is $300. Annual dues, thereafter, are $110.

VENDORS

  • Members who sell, rent, or lease products utilized by the tree care industry.
  • Initial fee is $110. Annual dues, thereafter, are $110.

MUNICIPAL MEMBERS

  • The governing body or representatives of government, agencies & schools.
  • Initial fee is $35. Annual dues, thereafter, are $35.

INDIVIDUALS

  • Individuals with an interest in arboriculture, landscaping, or horticulture.
  • Initial fee is $35. Annual dues, thereafter, are $35.

ORGANIZATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATES

  • Representatives of other related horticultural programs.
  • Initial fee is $35. Annual dues, thereafter, are $35.
